Neptune Vista Cordless Helmet Intercoms

Recognising the limitations of body-worn PMR or VHF radios in rescue situations, we decided that it was essential to design a completely new product from scratch.  It would have to be contained entirely within the helmet or headset, be hands-free, allowing crew to leave the main vessel and remain in contact at all times and, of course, be completely submersible.

7. ‣   Encrypted intercom allows only helmets linked to the Vista system to hear messages.  Base units can be locked down to specific helmets only, if required, for security
   

8. ‣   In rescue situations, direct communication with other air/land or seaborne units operating with Vista
   

9. ‣   Hands-free use
   

10. ‣   Up to 400m line-of-sight operation
    

11. ‣   4 hours talk time
    

12. ‣   VHF monitoring by all crew for situational awareness
    

13. ‣   VHF transmission override from any helmet/headset, when required, using integral PTT
    

14. ‣    Other radios can be linked to the system with a switch unit for radio selection
    

Neptune Vista has been extensively field tested in the Baltic and North Sea by rescue services and has been adopted by police, naval and SAR services.
